Your privacy is very important to PS Score. This Privacy Policy covers how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information. Please take a moment to review our practices and contact us if you have any questions.

1. What does this document include?

For the optimal functioning of this app, it is necessary to collect and process certain information obtained from the device on which it is installed. This information allows us to improve the app, to adapt the content optimally for each user or to contact the user if necessary.

To demonstrate that we care about the privacy of our users, we have adopted this Privacy Policy, which explains, in understandable and easy-to-understand language, how we collect, store, use and disclose the information that users entrust to us.

This Privacy Policy attempts to cover as many scenarios as possible, including in many cases where the app does not even collect or process the information described in this Privacy Policy.

What information does the app collect?

This application collects the information necessary for the normal operation of our business. This App does NOT collect personal information for malicious purposes.

The App does not collect information such as your name, surname, etc. Therefore, any sensitive data it collects cannot be directly associated with you and will be treated anonymously. The app may collect an email address or phone number and store it in order to contact the user if necessary.

In some cases this information may be combined with other information about you obtained from other sources, such as other apps or websites.

2. What information does this privacy policy collect?

PS Score collects two types of information: (1) non-personal, anonymous information collected automatically or (2) personally identifiable information (PII) collected manually after user consent.

Non-personal information collected automaticallyTechnical information, which includes certain information or characteristics about the operating system, including the type of carrier or type of browser used, the Internet Protocol (IP), IP address and the names and versions of applications installed on the device, the geographic location of the device (including GPS coordinates). Such technical information as mentioned above remains anonymous, i.e. it does not identify you personally and is not stored in association with any other information linking it to the user himself, unless the user voluntarily enters additional information.

This information will be used to improve the application by learning how, when and where the user navigates through it.

Information that the user freely providesIf at any time the app requests Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that would allow us to contact him/her, such as name or cell phone number, the user will be free to provide such information. However:

If you share your PII in an open format (e.g., through social networks), the information we collect will not be protected by this privacy policy.

PII will not include any information collected by the application by any means other than this application in which the privacy policy is contained. This means that information collected anywhere other than this application is not covered by this Privacy Policy. It should be noted that, if in any case the app offers links to other applications, we are not responsible for the content, activity or information that takes place in them.

It will be considered personal information:Demographic information such as age or date of birth, nationality, education level, gender, interests or qualities.

User information such as user name and password, confidential answers to certain security questions, or similar information that would allow us to uniquely identify or authenticate your account prior to providing personal information about the user’s account.

Most of this data may be obtained when the app offers social sign-in functionality and the user agrees to sign in to the app using a social account. In some cases, the app automatically registers with the user’s social account associated with the device and the user agrees to extend that registration when using this app.

3. What happens to the information we collect from children?

We do not collect personal information from children under the age of 13. We take children’s privacy seriously, and encourage parents to play an active role in their children’s online education at all times. Children under the age of 13 should not install our application on any device belonging to them and, if they do so, it is at the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians. In the event that we obtain personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will take steps to remove the information provided from our server. In the event that the content of this application has been rated as suitable for children under the age of 13, it should only be installed on devices belonging to their parents, guardians or anyone else over the age of 13. If the application requests Personal Information at any time, children under the age of 13 should never enter such information.

4. How do we collect personal information?

We collect personally identifiable information (PII), demographic information and user information from our users when they:

  • Register with our application.
  • Participate in surveys, studies or questionnaires.
  • Participate in offers or promotions.

In addition to the stated information, we use cookies to collect user information when you visit our application. Cookies are information that a web page or application sends to your device when you are browsing that application. As an example, when you decide to return to our application after registering, cookies provide us with information so that our server remembers who you are. 6. With whom do we share information?

TThis application may monetize your information by giving your PII and user information to third party companies (in some cases) in the following situations:

  • When the app is monetized through advertising, the advertising networks and/or advertisers that provide the ads may require certain information from the user or the device in order to deliver the most appropriate ad for the user or that may be of most interest to the user. The app may use networks such as Startapp, Airpush, Tappx, Facebook, Amazon, Google or Docomo, among others.
  • When we hire independent advertising networks to display our app's advertising banner when you visit third-party websites. To do this more efficiently, the advertising network may use and insert on your device certain technology, such as cookies, to collect non-personal information from you when you visit our application. This information is used to display advertisements about goods and services that better match your interests when you visit other websites.

We often evaluate (sometimes with the help of external companies) how our online content and services are performing. The information collected for this purpose will rest on the company's server and will be limited to the company's professional use. In no event will PII or user information be shared except as set forth above.

When disclosure is required by law or is intended to protect the security of the applications, this application has the right to disclose any information collected, regardless of when that information was collected. We will only make such disclosures when permitted or required by law, or when we believe there are bona fide reasons: (i) to protect your safety, including that of your property, (ii) to protect the safety of your applications or third parties, and (iii) to enforce terms of use, updates or promotions.

7. Will third parties collect information from your applications?

There are certain situations where a third party may collect information from the application. This app uses third-party libraries that provide certain functionality: analytics tools, communication tools, social networks, advertisers, etc.

Analytics tools:to improve the application, we sometimes use tools that analyze user behavior. This way we can know which parts of the application are most important and which ones need to be improved.

Communication tools:in case we ever need to communicate with users, we integrate third-party tools that facilitate this communication, either through push notifications, emails, in-app alerts, etc.

Social networks:if your app ever connects to a social network, it will ask for authorization. Once the connection is authorized, the social network will be able to access certain information.

Advertising networks:in the event that this app shows advertising, it usually comes from advertising networks that connect with advertisers. These networks need certain information in order to provide the most appropriate ad for you.

This application reserves the right to give certain user information to companies that collaborate with us or to software developers that provide some functionality of the app. We provide this type of access to such companies in order to generate interest in our products among members with whom we have some type of agreement as well as to allow us to reach you and your friends with the type of product we offer. Information collected by us will be treated in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy, but use of the information by a third party will be treated according to their own standards. This application does not guarantee that the other party will comply with its security policy.

8. What kind of security measures do we take to safeguard your personal information?

The security and confidentiality of your information is extremely important to us. For that reason we have technical, administrative and physical security measures in place to protect your personal information from unauthorized access and fraudulent use. We also review our security system periodically to incorporate new technological developments and update methods. However, despite our efforts, no security method is completely perfect and foolproof.

You can also play an important role in keeping your information securely stored. If you are required to create a unique password to restrict access to your account, choose a password that is difficult for other users to guess, and be careful not to reveal it to anyone. It is your responsibility to safeguard your password and account information at all times. If you use a public or shared mobile device, never give it to save user and always log out of your account whenever you stop using the device.

Finally, with respect to companies that have an agreement with this application, we require them to agree to protect our terms of confidentiality, integrity and security of any personal information we share with them. When your personal information is shared or simultaneously collected by a third party as set forth above, it will either be obvious to you given the context (such as the appearance of a third party on your phone screen) or you will be notified at the time the personal information is claimed. In addition, you will be given the opportunity to accept or decline such practices before they are initiated. As stated in section 3 of this Privacy Policy, we do not collect personal information from children under the age of 13 and inform them that they should not use our tool under any circumstances.

Thus, this application will not share information collected from children under the age of 13 with any company that has entered into a partnership agreement.

In case we detect that one of our technology partners puts your integrity at risk or uses your information to carry out any illegal action, we will take the appropriate measures to sever the relationship with that provider.

10. How will you know if we change our privacy policy?

Google Play services version 4.0 has introduced new APIs and an identifier code (ID) that can be used by analytics and advertising providers. The terms of use of these APIs and this ID are set out below.

11. Clarifications regarding the use of the Android Ad ID

This app reserves the right to change this privacy policy at any time, although this is not customary. Any changes to the policies will usually be accompanied by an update to the version of the application. At the beginning of these policies you can find the version number and the date on which they have been edited. If we make a material change in how we collect, use or share personal information, we will add these changes in a new version of these policies.

Use. The Android Advertising ID is only used for advertising and user analytics purposes. The status of the option to disable interest-based advertising must be checked on each access of the ID

Association to personally identifiable information or other identifiers. The advertising ID is not linked to personally identifiable information or associated with any persistent device identifier (e.g., SSAID, MAC address or IMEI) without explicit user consent.

Respecting user selections. Upon reset, the new advertising identifier is not linked to a previous advertising identifier or data derived from a previous advertising identifier without explicit user consent. In addition, an option is provided to disable interest-based advertising by the user. If a user has enabled this option, the advertising identifier is not used to create user profiles for advertising purposes or to reach users with interest-based advertising. Permissible activities include contextual advertising, frequency limiting, conversion tracking, reporting, and fraud and security detection. reporting, and fraud and security detection.

Compliance with terms of use. The advertising identifier is only used in accordance with these terms, including use by any party with whom you may share it during commercial activity. As of August 1, 2014, all updates and new apps uploaded to the Play Store must use the Advertising ID (when available on a device) in place of any other device identifier for advertising purposes.

12. Clarifications regarding access to your phone number

This app has not been developed to obtain the phone number of your phone and no functionality has been added to it to obtain it, which does not include any line of code to access the phone number.

The app includes some third-party libraries (SDK), used in the case of monetization with advertising. We do not have access to the source code of such third-party SDKs, some of which access and collect the phone number. Should we detect that any of these ad networks engage in such practices, we will remove it immediately and release a new version of the application, to protect your privacy.
